Thousands of innocent lives have been lost,
Obviously still not enough to cover the cost.
The reaper gets what he wants,
And if he doesn’t his image haunts.
The scum of the country are left to
While we keep living
in an ignorant bubble.
Not wanting to believe the things we hear,
But when crime is up all we do is yell here and there.
We talk with all our strength and anger
but actions we never take,
Hoping one realizes all the words we spew are fake.
But life moves on…
Again the innocent shall suffer,
The rich will get richer,
But for the poor it just gets tougher.
Society is in shambles, we continue to go down hill,
But the truth shall be ignored,
Wiped from our mind with the ingestion of a distraction.
For how long will this go on?
For how long will the innocent suffer?
For how long will the poor get poorer?
For how long shall we all live in this bondage?
Power circulates around those who have refused to let it out,
Tears, cries, pains of the innocent only cry out.
Who is to stop it all?
Who is to lead us all?
The blood keeps spilling…the belly keeps getting bigger
Who is to blame?
Who will cleanse this land of ours?
The Old? The young? Or the Unborn?
The Old who has refused to see there will be no rest if we continue?
The young who make jokes off humourless circumstances?
The Unborn whose future we cannot tell?
Mighty men hide in their huts for the fear of the Men with big belly
For how long will we hide?
My thoughts are troubled for I fear for my future, my generations future, and so many to come.
The cries of the innocent shall and will not go in vain.
For one day we shall rise
Rise above it all…
